25  Sat  6:00pm  Annual meeting installation dinner  Bob Kinderlehrer  We will be returning to Ristorante Don Giovanni in Mountain View with appetizers and no-host bar at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00. The meeting agenda will include installation of officers and presentation of awards.

Sat  10:30am  Frozen North Run  Cliff Watts  Organized by Jim and Jane Buck and Cliff and Sharon Watts. Saturday 8 February 2020 starting in Pinole which is on Highway 80 between Richmond and the Carquinez Bridge. We will start at 10:30am and finish about 3:00pm allowing time for people to travel fairly long distances in order to participate. Being a Saturday and just 2 days before Drive Your Triumph Day most people with jobs can join in too. This will be a 45+ mile, varied tour with stops for sight-seeing and lunch. Sports car roadways, Winding hilly lanes and Views. Speed bumps and Hill starts to challenge you. Driving your Triumph will be nice but not required For more information to follow, see the TTSCC calendar page and the TTSCC Google Group. 
10  Mon  9:30 AM  DYTD in the Santa Cruz Mts  Rye Livingston  Have you made plans to drive your Triumph on Monday, February 10th, for Drive Your Triumph Day? If you can't join an organized drive, take it for a spin to work, grocery store, where ever, and snap a quick photo. Even if your car is in hibernation or restoration, take a photo of it in your garage. Better yet, join the drive I'm hosting which will be a fun drive in the Santa Cruz Mountains, ending at Burger in Santa Cruz which of course serves yummy burgers, along with salads, sandwiches and wood fired pizza, and of course for Roger, they have an extensive BEER selection! We'll meet in Los Gatos behind Great Bear Coffee, 19 N Santa Cruz Ave, Los Gatos at 9:30, depart at 10am. The route - take HWY 9 to Saratoga, then up HWY 9 up and over Saratoga Gap, heading down towards Big Basin. Part way down from the summit there is a big turnout and view point, plus bathroom. It's not very far into the drive, but a great spot for a group photo and pit stop. From there we'll proceed down HWY 9, then continue on 236 into Big Basin Park, looping back to HWY 9 in Boulder Creek to Ben Lomond to Felton. Right turn and up Felton Empire Road to the summit, then left turn on to Empire Grade down past UCSC into Santa Cruz. Before getting to lunch, we're going to make a loop down to Natural Bridges State Beach Vista Point. If we're lucky and not many cars in the parking lot, we'll have another sweet photo opportunity. Then down West Cliff Drive to BURGER on Mission Street https://www.burgerlovesbeer.com.

Sat  9:30  Spring Fling  Rye  The Spring Fling drive is on Saturday, May 23rd. Day before Mother's Day. - We'll meet up at Starbucks in Milpitas, 1197 E Calaveras Blvd at 9:30am, starting the drive at 10am, motoring up and over Calaveras Road, by Calaveras Reservoir over to HWY 84 and into Livermore for a pit stop. - We’ll then continue on Mines Road, which is spectacular, to The Junction Bar & Grill for lunch. - After lunch it's a beautiful drive through a couple of valleys with creeks and ponds and wild flowers, and then up the backside of Mt Hamilton to Lick Observatory. There are free talks inside the dome of the 36-inch Great Refractor every hour on the half hour if anyone wants to check that out. - After that we can continue on as a group, or leave when you please, and motor down the west side of Mt Hamilton, HWY 130, to Alum Rock Ave. Any and all are welcome. In your vintage car, or if that’s not an option, in your Prius, SUV or Minivan. Just join in the fun.  
30  Sat  9:00am  North County Tour  John Howard  This drive is organized by the North Bay Triumph Group, which is just an email list. We're planning to do the "Two Valley Run" that we planned an cancelled in the Fall of 2017. Meet up in Napa, tour through the hills East of St Helena, end up in Middletown for lunch. then cross over the Sonoma hills and go back South just East of 101 to the racetrack. 100 miles or so.
