Some 300+ antique and classic cars participate in the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance. 25  Sat  10:am - 12PM  Cornerstone of Los Gatos Show & Shine    You have been included in this email list as someone who has an awesome ride and might be interested in showing it at our - first ever - Cornerstone Shopping Center OPEN HOUSE. The exact details are still being pulled together but the show will be on September 25th from 10am-12pm. Please confirm via the sign up link below that you are able to attend and how many cars you can bring. We are looking for all types. This is a friendly show ‘N shine event where any car lover can participate. Please feel free to forward to your friends. We are hoping for up to 25 cars. There will be a band (Big Mike & The Hartbeats), face painting for the kids, snow cones, balloons, and the tenants will have displays out. Ramble to the Redwoods of Boulder Creek Remember when British Cars were displayed on the streets of a Historic California Town? Join us on Sunday, September 26, 2021 to recreate this unique experience, when the SCBMC will sponsor Ramble to the Redwoods to picturesque Boulder Creek. Highlights of this event include: •Driving Tours to Boulder Creek departing at 9 am from- Watsonville Los Gatos (if sufficient interest) •Static Car Show Display of Cars in Downtown Boulder Creek (10 am – 2 pm) •Judging of Cars, with prizes donated by the Boulder Creek Business Association (BCBA) •Special Luncheon Meals and discounts for registrants only, courtesy of BCBA businesses •A Chance to Shop the unique merchants of Boulder Creek •A Live Radio Broadcast of the Festivities There is no charge to participate, but this first time event is limited to just 50 cars. Sat  2 days  Gold Rush Run  The Bergmans  Leave 9-ish Saturday morning, lunch in Locke, back roads to Murphy's. Dinner/pub crawl in town. Back roads home Sunday. Save the date! For those interested in the Oct. 2-3 Gold Rush Run, you must book your Saturday night hotel reservation in the near future. We recommend 2 motels which are walking distance from downtown: Murphy's Inn 209-728-1818 https://www.murphysinnmotel.com/ Also Murphy's Suites 209-728-2121 http://www.murphyssuites.com/ The Suites' rooms are a little bigger and nicer than the Inn, but also a bit pricier. Please call either hotel directly to set up your Saturday night reservation.

11  Mon  9:00 AM  TTSCC Beach Clean-up/Pumpkin Run/Lunch  Rick Arnesen - arnesenrick@gmail.com  Join in for a simple Fall drive to Surfer’s Beach in Half Moon Bay for 2 hours of beach clean-up on Columbus Day. We will meet with a docent from Pacific Beach Coalition as well as a naturalist who will discuss the impact of litter and our unique beach ecosystem. Buckets and gloves will be provided. If you have a picker-up-er, toss it in your trunk. We hope to park at The Miramar Beach Restaurant on Magellan Ave, basically on the beach. We will complete our purposeful walk on the beach (litter pickup) at noon and can enjoy an outdoor lunch at the restaurant without moving our cars. The Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail runs next to the beach for an easy afternoon stroll to Pillar Point Harbor or south down the coast. This year’s Pumpkin Weigh-off was scheduled for this day but was recently cancelled. Maybe a fall photo of your car with pumpkins is in order. This beach clean up is sponsored by Compassion Week, an annual week of service to our Bay Area communities supported by multiple local faith and civic organizations. More information will be provided in the coming days. If interested, please sign up so we can anticipate headcount. The Miramar Restaurant, built in 1918, has a fun history as a ‘speakeasy’, bordello, and rum runner hideout for years.

The roads have been selected for top-down motoring. Gather: 9:30 Depart at 10AM Meet at Coldwell Banker 410 North Santa Cruz Avenue Los Gatos A Chevron and Starbucks are very close to the start for fueling.  
17  Sun  All day  All British Motor Show    Don’t miss the All British Motor Show on October 17th at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville. Be part of the British Auto scene featuring beautiful marques from all of the isles. This is the 30th Annual Show brought to you by Mini Owners of America San Francisco (MOASF) and co-hosted by the Blackhawk Museum. Jaguar XKE is our featured marque this year. The show, as always, is open to all cars and motorcycles associated with the British Automobile industry. Please register early to show your car or motorcycle. We will have “day of registration” if you forget to register early but at increased rates. To enter go to www.allbritishmotorshow.com and hit REGISTER at the top of the page. If you can’t bring your vehicle come out and enjoy the show anyway. Spectators are alway free!

Sat  TBD  Gimmick Car Rallye – Toy Drive  Jim Kermode - jrkermode@hotmail.com  Entry fee is a new, unwrapped toy Details will be posted at www.TheRallyeClub.com, but usually starts at Cuesta park (Mountain View) in the afternoon and finishes at Straw Hat Pizza (Cupertino) around dinner time. A gimmick car rally is a route-finding game that uses street signs. Participants navigate a set of instructions while watching out for word games and logical traps (gimmicks). The Rally is done while driving, often at very low speeds, with frequent stops to puzzle out the instructions. Therefore, this event is best done in your daily driver. Super fun with a car-full, especially puzzle-loving kids.
